Peter Griffiths

Author Peter Griffiths was born in rural Queensland, Australia, in 1945. The world he lives in now has changed enormously since then, and two of his memories help give context to some of the changes taking place since his early years. The first was in 1957, when he went outside at night to watch the pinpoint of light that was the sputnik satellite travel across the sky. The second was in 1969 while serving in Vietnam and listening to the broadcast of the first moon landing.

Peter has condensed seventy-five years of life experience and observation into his debut book. Over his working life, he has lived and worked in most states of Australia and for many years owned an export business operating throughout Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific. During these years he met and worked with a diverse mix of interesting colourful and sometimes unique characters. He spent time in different and interesting places and had exposure to a wide range of ideas and cultures.

Through his interactions and experiences over the years, he became increasingly aware that there are still many aspects of our natural world that we do not understand. That awareness, and the freedom of retirement, has allowed him to spend the time reviewing these years and insights, and attempt to put them into a logical context.   www.petergriffithsauthor.com

We Are Life

Have you ever wondered what life on earth is all about? If so, this is the book for you. With uncanny insight and refreshing candour, author Peter Griffiths takes readers on a unique journey into the interconnection between humanity, the earth, and our illimitable ‘life energy’.

Condensing 75 years of life experience into this volume, he provides theories on some of life’s fundamental questions, such as ‘Why are we here?’ and ‘How have we evolved over the ages to arrive at the crossroads we are facing today?’

As a young man, Peter was ‘taught’ the art of water dowsing. During these dowsing experiences, he became aware that there are still many aspects of the natural world we cannot explain. This awareness triggered an ongoing quest to find credible answers to his questions about life.

He realised there is an intelligent ‘life energy’ at work in the material universe. This was the breakthrough that allowed him deep insights into the nature and origin of life on earth. These unique insights have been passed on in this book, offering a glimpse into the eternal nature of being, as well as where we’ve come from and where we might be going.

“Many of us often wonder what is the meaning of life. What should our mission be while we are here on earth? What is the difference between consciousness and the unconscious mind? What happens when we die? What are the differences between religion and spirituality? As our environment evolves, what is the future for mankind?

The content of this well-written and profound book is very uplifting. Peter Griffiths' insights are truly inspiring and encouraging. This is a real education in self-awareness and how we can improve our sub-conscious mind. There are so many aspects of We Are Life that I thoroughly enjoyed. The chapter around Mother Nature and how she repairs the imbalance of the environment was so interesting.

The differences between spirituality and religion were perfectly explained and, as a spiritual person myself, I found great comfort in Peter's theory. The analogy he used to explain the invisible energy that we all possess was perfect. I totally agreed with his viewpoint on how the education system is drowning out individualism. I also enjoyed the chapter on consciousness and self immensely; his explanations throughout are so easily understood.

Peter's wisdom and intellect on this subject were refreshing and compelling. I cannot wait for his second book derived from the remainder of his profound and thought-provoking notes.”

“We Are Life by Peter Griffiths looks into the theories surrounding life with a unique perception and reveals the connection between the earth, humanity, and 'life energy'.

I like the way Peter Griffiths has handled the subject. It will make readers think and give them an awareness of life and how the various environments on earth will be in balance and sustainable, planet-wide. The author's words will make readers realize that they are all part of Mother Nature and if they cannot bring a sustainable balance to the planet, then Mother Earth will do it.

The author speaks of many concepts and how these helped him become aware of the natural world. Reading the book gives readers a unique understanding of life and is also a good way for readers to find a way to be part of future solutions instead of being part of a problem”

“We Are Life by Peter Griffiths is a non-fiction theology book that explores the complex ties between ourselves as humans and the entirety of life in all of its many forms on earth. Spread throughout ten chapters, Griffiths describes his perspective on our bodies, origin, and purpose, Mother Nature and our sense of self, spirituality, religion, and death, and the sustainability of humanity into the future.

Peter Griffiths writes with a relatable voice that makes We Are Life easy to understand, no small task for a book meant to assist in understanding the meaning of life. There's an authenticity to Griffiths' method of writing that made me feel like I was having a conversation with a friend, and this is where I believe my level of trust and comfort was extended above and beyond where it would normally lie with another less skilled writer.

What I found most interesting was the biological science employed in a great deal of the connections made, particularly as it applied to Mother Nature and the chapter on whether or not she has an agenda. Her predisposition to heal and balance gives us the answer even if we are unable to grasp something so much greater than us. If anyone can explain it in a way that brings you over to the light side, it's going to be Peter Griffiths. Very highly recommended.”
